From Arlanda Airport
Arlanda Express train to Stockholm Central station (20 minutes)
Follow the signs to Arlanda express at your terminal. This is the fastest and easiest but also more pricy option with a fare of ̴ 29 Euros. There are discounts for young adults up till the age of 25, students (with identification in form of ISIC, Studentkortet or Mecenatkortet) and other temporary discounts. Children under the age of 18 travel for free in the company of adults. You can buy the ticket online and receive the ticket on your credit card. Online tickets must be purchased at least one hour prior to departure. You can also buy the ticket with a credit card at the airport’s information desks or in the Arlanda Express self-service machines located next to the escalators/lifts leading down to the platform.
Commuter trains to Stockholm central station (40 minutes)
Follow the signs to Arlanda central station, at Sky City. It´s a 5 minute walk. These trains depart around twice an hour. You can buy a single ticket for ~€13, and half-price for young adults under 20 years of age or seniors over 65 years of age. Or you can buy a 72 hours or 7 day ticket for busses, metro and trams and use this to get from and to the airport as well (although you have to pay ~€8 for passage to and from the airport). A 72 hours ticket costs ~€23 and a 7 day ticket ~€30. These tickets can be bought with a credit card at a desk next to the escalators/lifts leading down to the platform at Arlanda central station.
Airport bus to Cityterminalen/Stockholm central station (40 minutes)
The ticket costs ~€10 and there are discounts for children from 7 to 18 years of age and family tickets. You can buy these tickets online and show in a smartphone or buy them with a credit card in 7-Eleven or in ticket machines on the airport.

You can buy these tickets online and show in a smartphone or buy them with a credit card in 7-Eleven or on the bus. Free Wi-Fi is available, and each seat on the bus is equipped with an electrical outlet to charge mobile phones and laptops.
